Silver ammo can cache celebrating caching along South 14 (Hwy 337) south of Tijeras.
The cache is on Cedro Ridge Trail (aka trail 13) follows the ridgeline below the Cedro Peak watch tower until the trail meets up with FR 462 which continues to Chamisoso Canyon Road. This cache is about a mile from the parking area (there are several other caches nearby) and should be a fairly pleasant hike along a road with less than 100 ft elevation change.
Cache also has a card with a number in the lid (and in the cover of the log book). This number is used to find the Sandia Trailmaster cache.
Starting SWAG includes a FTF (or whoever dares to take it) novelty t-shirt utilizing the photography/photoshop skills of CM92 and my ironing skills, plus some ready-made caches - still plenty of room for caches along South 14.
These Trailmaster caches are dedicated to those rugged individuals who have placed and found caches on the trails of South Hwy 14 (aka Hwy 337).
"Make new friends / but keep the old / one is silver / and the other gold." - scout song
*** Congrats to cyclegreen for FTF!!! ***
