Locating this cache is a quick walk within public state conversation land. There is some overgrowth during the summer, much of the path is well defined and firm. There are plenty of bugs in these woods so bring or wear bug spray or proper covering.
The two main entrances for the path are located at N42 34.531 W71 57.754 OR N42 34.698 W71 57.61. You can access the path from the Dunn Pond State Park, but it is the more difficult means of finding the cache.
This cache is an medium sized ammo box located near the Dunn Pond recreational site located within some conservation land reserved as public space. This path and the conversation land sits between and connects two streets. The path is often used by neighborhood walkers, and those wanting to take a path down to Dunn Pond.
Note the ground can get rather soft and/or muddy after it rains, so make sure you wear proper clothing and bug protection.
Once on the main path, look for a connecting path as the cache is off this secondary path.
Take note of the two main entrances for access to the path which are located at N42 34.531 W71 57.754 OR N42 34.698 W71 57.619.
You can access the path from Dunn Pond State Park if you are visiting, but it is the more difficult way to reach the goal. It is also be more difficult to locate the trail head from within the State park.
