PORTUS GANDA
Portus Ganda is de site rond de stedelijke
jachthaven van de Gent. Deze stedenbouw is gelegen op de voormalige
samenvloeiing van de rivieren Schelde en Leie en naast het
gerenoveerde Stedelijk zwembad Van Eyck, dat bekend staat als het
oudste overdekte openbaar zwembad van Vlaanderen. De samenvloeiing
op zich is overigens volop in een restauratiefase. De Keltische
oorsprong van Ganda, de oudste bekende naam van de plaats, zal op
deze manier opnieuw in zijn oorspronkelijke betekenis geplaatst
worden.
Ze werd geopend in 2005.
