Welcome to our Sunday Drive Series - #1 - Drummonds Reserve
This series of caches will take you on a journey around some of the roads that take in the wonderful scenic views of Lake Hume & it's surrounding hills, Mt.Granya & the Jarvis Creek Regional Park.
This series is aimed at a leisurely drive that hopefully takes you to some places you wouldn't often visit & take in the beautiful views along the way.
This cache is located along 'Drummonds Road ' - along side Drummonds Reserve & looks out towards the 'Talgarno Bight. A great little fishing spot!
Although not a very busy road, this reserve is often used by quite alot of fisherman, and now the lake is so high, they are alot closer to the nearby road. Please have a good look around before retrieving & replacing the cache - you can pull up right next to the area, and should be an easy 'Park & Grab'.
If you continue past the cache, the gate to the reserve is often closed due to livestock, so please ensure it is left as found if you wish to have a look around the area. The entry is to the RIGHT of the White fence & cattle grid.
Cache is a painted 500ml+ container.
Good Luck! We hope you enjoy the tour, and enjoy our 'Sunday Drive' as much as we do.
