Geocache Description:

A cache hidden in the Blue Swallow Reserve near Kaapsehoop.

You will probably have visited our caches "Buttocks Box" and "A Big Tree, a Tiny Ruin" en-route to this cache. It's about 1.3 kms past the ruin cache, either along the cliffside trail, or the vehicle track. The cliffside trail is by far the nicest because there are some stunning views along this stretch of it.

The cache is hidden about 40m from what is believed to be an ancient monolithic calendar dating back more than 70,000 years, with alignment that coincides with the Zimbabwe Ruins and the Pyramids in Egypt. Some internet research about Adams Calendar could enhance your visit to this location.

There are believers and skeptics about this, but there seems to be specific scientific evidence to support it.

ENJOY!!

The cache is camo PET preform.
