Above is a map of the Freeman Creek Campground. The red stars indicate the entrance into the park and the trailhead entrance. You can park in the Day Use Parking ($5.00) or camp over and enjoy the area. You can get to the cache by driving in, walking in, hiking in, or boating in.
You are looking for a sandwich size lock n lock (used to be a camo micro) on the Placid View Trail in Freeman Creek Campground in Dworshak State Park. Ranger Charlie Chase gave us permission to place this cache here while we were camping over the Labor Day weekend.
For every 100 caches we find, we place a cache for others to find. This cache represents our 2,500th find which we got while camping at Round Lake State Park several miles north of here. We were very surprised to find NO caches in this area and hopefully will start a trend.....~:o)
