Talking to the Lynn View Traditional Cache
Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.
The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

An easy cache on a pleasant walk near Criccieth with some nice views from GZ. Criccieth is a historical resort village with plenty to do and some very nice beaches. Take time to look around the village and even visit the historical castle. There are also plenty of other caches in the area as well. The cache is in a small lock and lock box.
Parking is available for free by the sea front this is where the walk starts which is about 1 mile. From the parking area walk down the footpath towards GC2DMDZ (you can pick this up on the way past if you haven't found it)
Follow the footpath through a gate and past a house on your right and an old cottage on your left until you come to a path junction. Ignore the path going off to the left and continue straight ahead. After 200m or so you will come to a stile and the main path going straight ahead. Turn right over the stile and across the field and follow your GPS to GZ. Ignore the road going to the right and left. From GZ there are some great views over the Lynn.
To return either go back the same way you came or to make it a circular walk, Walk straight down the grassy track from GZ to a gate. Go through this gate then another one and you will come to a driveway. Walk down the driveway to the end and turn right along the road back to the parking area.
Congratulations to BESS'S FRIENDS for the FTF.
