aeneatores: Wir mussten beim Wartungsbesuch feststellen, dass das Loch des Verstecks in den vergangenen neun Jahren kleiner geworden ist. Das Risiko, dass eine neue Box wieder verloren geht ist zu hoch. Wir lassen den alten Riesen ab sofort in Ruhe.

The hole of hideout has become smaller in past 9 years. The risk, that another box will get lost is too high. We´ll leave the old giant on its own from now on.

Geocache Description:

Cache an einem eher unbekannteren Punkt mit schöner Aussicht auf das Stanzertal sowie auf das Kranzbauernviertel, Veitsch, Schneealm und Rax. Erreicht werden kann der Punkt über den Wanderweg 721, der von Kindbergdörfl auf die Stanglalm führt oder dem Kindberger Wanderweg W1. Mountainbiker können ihn über die Suppenbergtour erreichen.

Eine Möglichkeit wäre auch die Kombination mit "Mürztalblick" (visit link) mit einer kurzen Wanderung vom GH Ochnerbauer zum Cache.
Grundsätzlich wäre es auch möglich, sich dem Cache von Edelsdorf im Stanzertal aus zu erwandern, es gibt hier allerdings keine markierten Wege.

KFZ und Radfahrer können sich bis auf 250m nähern, in dem sie von Kindberg aus kommend Richtung GH Ochnerbauer fahren, aber bei der entsprechenden Beschilderung in Richtung Gehöft "Simmerl im Eck" abbiegen (die Straße ist nicht in allen Navis enthalten...). Fahrzeit mit KFZ von Kindberg aus: ca. 15 min.

English description:

Cache at a rather unknown point with marvelous view over the Stanzertal as well as over the Kranzbauernviertel and the mountains Veitsch, Schneealm and Rax. The point can be reached by the trail 721 that leads from Kindbergdörfl to the Stanglalm as well as along the Kindberg hiking trail W1. Mountainbikers can take the Suppenbergtour to come close to the point.

One possibility would be to combine this cache with "Mürztalblick" (visit link) and to take a short hike from GH Ochnerbauer.
In principle it would be possible to hike there from Edelsdorf in the Stanzertal, but there are no marked trails that lead up there.

Motor drivers and bicyclists can come up to 250m to the cache, driving from Kindberg up in direction GH Ochnerbauer and to turn off in direction "Simmerl im Eck" (the road may be missing in your navi...). Driving time with motor vehicles to get there from Kindberg: ~ 15min.
