Geocache Description:

A hike in the Lancaster State Forest.

Mike likes to hike. I just moved to the area and love all of the hiking caches in the area but I can't get enough of a good thing so I have decided to bring this series to Mass. These caches are designed for you to get away from the car and enjoy a nice hike in one of our many beautiful open areas. The point of these caches is the journey to the cache, not the cache itself. They aren't meant to be hard to find but they give you that extra reward while on the trail.

This is a nice hike on a well established trail that starts at route 70. This cache takes you past a couple caches on the way out here. It is a small Lock and Lock. There are miles of trails past this cache to enjoy. Parking is off of Route 70 between an opening in the guard rail. You will see a sign for the Cook Conservation Area at the trailhead. Enjoy!
