Sam & Charlie's is allowing us to use a
meeting room for our geo-activities so we wont be mingling with
muggles. Please post your Will Attend log including how many
people so they'll know how to set up.
Plan to arrive in time to get your beverage of
choice and study the menu so we can place our orders before 8:30 AM
the "last call" time for ordering the early morning special. The
menu is reasonable breakfast fare and includes several "anytime"
specials. They'll get creative making Belgian Waffles and will
probably still have ingredients for pumpkin. A cheeseburger waffle
might even sound good to somebody with a milk shake,
ugh.
Some may remember this restaurant as a former
White Hut, one of a popular local chain of cruising locations from
the 50s and 60s. You can still order a Super King with special
sauce if you desire (what is that special sauce anyways?).
Photos and clippings of the old days can be seen on the walls of
the meeting room.
If anyone wants to read a seasonal poem, give
a shout out or make an announcement, time and undivided attention
will be provided. As far as providing anything else, I'm bringing a
log book, name tags and a couple handouts, the rest is up to
you.
A table will be designated for travel
bugs, coins and signature items.

I may be willing to do a Waffle-Stompers Geo
Breakfast II but I'm hoping someone else will follow up and that
this can be passed around about every month, at least through the
winter. Experience hosting this event and you'll get the icon in
your list of caches placed. Make it creative or simple as you like.
