Geocache Description:

This Cache is located near I-70 on the first major hill looking out toward Denver, Red Rocks, and Heritage Square. This cache is being moved January 1, 2003 to help the slope from being to eroded.

It is called Colorado Bug Cache because it contained 6 travel bugs when it was placed.

The cache also has great views of Golden, Denver, The Dakota Hogback, and Dinosaur Ridge. There is aslo a geology walk below the cache to explain the odd colors in the rock.

Bonus: There is a Elevation marker underneath the power lines 2/10ths of a mile east and up the hill, it is next to the fence. The elevation is 6530ft at the cache and the elevaton at the parking lot is 6439ft.

This cache is easy and is a cache to do when driving by and you do not have much time. It is aslo a fun family cache. Please check the location of my cache.
