Our cache will bring you to another stop along the long gone Syracuse and Chenango Valley railroad line. Here you will find the center hub and old rockwall of the rock pit turntable. The turntable was used to spin the locomotive car around so it could return to Syracuse each day with coal and milk. Here at the posted coords stands a kiosk with pictures and info about the site. As with all our caches youneed not turn over any stones or dig into the old rockwall. When I returned to the car for a container for the cache there was little to be found so for the time being you are looking for a 35mm film vial.
