Geocache Description:

First in a series of three caches taking you on a circular route of just over a mile through the picturesque Horsecombe Vale on the outskirts of Bath. The terrain will slow you down so leave a good hour to complete this from car door to car door. Steep footpaths and muddy trails mean stout walking shoes or welly boots and scruffy clothes are a must. Little legs will love this one but will get very tired by the end. It also means this one is not for wheelchairs and buggies.

Park at the parking waypoint provided there is enough room for three cars at the wide section in the road. The start of the footpath is also marked as a waypoint and be warned this one starts with a steep downhill section of steps.

Horsecombe Vale is a beautiful piece of countryside running below Combe Down village with woodland walks, babbling brooks and wonderful wildlife. You'll also find converted mills, spring chambers, a water works and even an old railway tunnel (waypoint provided) on your journey if you venture a little further a field.

Well Steven Spielberg closed production on the Jurassic Park film franchise many years ago, but what do you do with the left over dinosaurs??

Some have found themselves stored away in a camouflaged 2 litre clip lock box and stashed away on a hillside footpath on the outskirts of bath.

Come and marvel at the dinosaurs but please leave them in place for others to find.

There is a first to find prize, a tarvelbug and lots of other little swaps to be found in the cache.

A good hint is provided please use it as GPS signals can be patchy through this valley.

Please rehide the cache well as these paths can be very busy.

From the cache location head on down the hill to the second cache (GC2GDQE-Jaws - 3D) stick to the footpaths you will get there and if you haven't already done it why not make a short diversion and complete the Reservoir Logs (GCQZT1) cache that is nearby.
