Geocache Description:

VSP approved Rails to Trails cache at the trail head near the White Rocks.
Cache is small marked container with log.

This was once a Buffalo trace used by the Cherokee to the South, and the Shawnee to the North. It was used as a path to wage War upon one another. It was known to the natives as "the path of the armed ones", and later as the Warriors Path by the White settlers. It is also the route that Daniel Boone used to travel to Kentucky, which became known as the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail, or the Wilderness Road to Kentucky.
