This is Mudpie's first cache. It's a small to medium sized container filled with treasure goodies -- jewelry, toys for the kids, and miscellaneous items. Enjoy!
Cache is hidden in Cibola National Forest. From NM 14, take 536 Sandia Crest Road to the Sulphur Canyon Picnic Ground. When entering the picnic area, take the road to the left (gate may be closed in winter), and drive to the Cienega Canyon Parking area. Park here. $3.00 parking fee is applicable.
From the parking area walk to the paved road to the east. This road is closed to motor vehicles. Follow paved road to the end where it makes a circle. Take the Armijo foot path to the cache.
The path is wheelchair and stroller accessible almost all the way to the cache. Cache is just slightly off the trail. If you are doing much bush-whacking, you are off course.
Coordinates are accurate to 55 feet.
