Geocache Description:

Have been admiring this place for some time now, because of the great view that this area has to offer, weather it is at high or low tide.
Have discovered this used to be a very busy place at one time. The small island that you are looking at from the cache site had a Saw Mill on one end of it and a Grist Mill at the other end, which was powered by water power. You can see at low tide remains of the water gates that used to open and shut depending on the movement of the water.
You can see the remains of a chimney, where a store once was when you make your last left hand turn when approaching the cache. Lobster and Herrring fishermen fished from this harbour. Also not far away is Penn Island where there used to be a house.
Cache is a small peanut butter jar with a log book, pencil, and some traders. There is a FTF. gift so take it and enjoy. We started off our T.B. and dropped off a coin. For now the cache is hidden low, please take the time to rehide it from muggles. I will later camo it and make it winter friendly.

FTF: Rpapaman
