Geocache Description:

No room for any swag, geocoins or bugs. Bring your own writing instrument as it is likely there won't be one in the cache.

As you walk from the parking area to the cache along the Tolt pipeline trail, you are going to wander past some of the biggest apple lovers in the world. Horses.

In addition to several private homes with horses, you will pass Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, where volunteers help kids and adults with disabilities to make “great strides” through partnership with horses.

If you are lucky, some of the 20 or so members of the Little Bit herd will be out in their paddocks. You may even pass some of the riders as they mosey along the trail.

PLEASE NOTE - there is no need to climb the hill and look for the cache on Little Bit property. Please don't approach the paddock fences or disturb the horses, even if they are interested in you. If you want to meet them, consider volunteering - it's a lot of fun and very gratifying.

As you make your way to the cache, be sure to look down at the ground as you might encounter some of the other kind of apples that are in the area – road apples.

This cache is part of the Pomological Passion series. The container originated as a “seed” placed in GC29ZVH.
