Geocache Description:

It may be one of the smaller bridges on the Hike Bike Pike but it's my favorite.  I find it most interesting because of the clever way Bernheim was able to incorporate old railroad tracks into the design of this well constructed bridge.  I'm all for recycling where ever possible.

The 3.2 mile long Hike Bike Pike is a combination of packed gravel and blacktop which runs along Lick Creek and Highway 245.  If you decide to hike or bike this trail be aware that this is not a loop trail and you will need to return along the same path for a total of 6.4 miles.  Parking for the trailhead is located at N37 55.540 W085 39.180.

You are looking for a large bison tube hidden just off the trail.

This cache has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.  Bernheim has established guidelines and a permitting process for this type of  activity.
Details are available at Bernheim.org.
