Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a moderate 4-5 hour circular walk from Carters Corner, across the Levels, through Magham Down and back. There are 12 caches, (including Lurch’s Leap), which was my first cache, to be done on the circuit.

Please bring a pen or pencil, as some caches may not contain them.

All caches have been placed on public rights of way. Some stretches are on quiet country lanes, the “busiest road“, the A271, is crossed twice.
To vary the difficulty, caches range from nano - medium in size. Some have clues, others don’t. Use your caching intuition!
Some caches contain letters to a final bonus cache. But beware, the clue in the difficult nano cache is needed to find the bonus cache.
Please be aware that the Levels can be quite inhospitable in the winter and very wet. Livestock will be encountered, so keep dogs under control.

If approaching from Magham Down no.4 the footpath is not well marked, as the field normally has wheat on it. Follow the field edge for 30m or so behind the big house, turn right into the other field and you will see the well worn path going straight across the field to a hole in the hedge towards the Levels.
