Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed for the BTTCAR1:Boomtown Trail Cache and Release 1 Caches will be released to the public on September 23, but should not be located prior to 6 p.m. on September 24th. The caches for the event are released early so that the caching community has an opportunity to solve puzzles and plan their routes prior to the event start.

Thistle galore. Dare say! A thistle field exists around this cache. BUT, the thistle field can be avoided. Pull off the gravel road right in front of the small pack of trees. Use the trees as access to the cache. This requires bush-whacking.
A pleasant, yet hidden view of the swamp from cache sight.
