Geocache Description:

If you look below the trail at this point you will see where Lick creek splits forming a small island.  On this island are several varieties of trees but the cedars got my attention.  There is also a nice section of exposed bedrock along this part of the creek.

The 3.2 mile long Hike Bike Pike is a combination of packed gravel and blacktop which runs along Lick Creek and Highway 245.

If you decide to hike or bike this trail be aware that this is not a loop trail and you will need to return along the same path for a total of 6.4 miles.  Parking for the trailhead is located at N37 55.540 W085 39.180.

You are looking for a large bison tube.

This cache has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.  Bernheim has established guidelines and a permitting process for this type of  activity. Details are available at Bernheim.org.
