Geocache Description:

About a year ago Jblane and MLE were so nice to replace a missing cache of mine at the nearby Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with a small lock and lock container. Come to find out someone else had replaced one of Jblane's caches with this very container. I thought it was time for this container to have a cache of it's own. Where better to place this cache than in Bernheim Forest which supports and promotes recycling.
The 3.2 mile long Hike Bike Pike is a combination of packed gravel and blacktop which runs along Lick Creek and Highway 245. If you decide to hike or bike this trail be aware that this is not a loop trail and you will need to return along the same path for a total of 6.4 miles. Parking for the trailhead is located at N37 55.540 W085 39.180. Hey Kids! A cache may be hidden here


You are looking for a lock & lock container hidden very near the trail. This easy cache should be very good for the kids. This cache has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. Bernheim has established guidelines and a permitting process for this type of activity. Details are available at Bernheim.org.
