Grok my rock Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

A quick find before or after your performance.

The Adelaide Festival Centre is the home of South Australia's performing arts. You may have attended many plays, concerts or festivals here. You may have stood on the particularly awful Festival Centre Plaza (which no-one has ever used because no-one can work out what to do with it). You may even have gazed at that little balcony on the back of Parliament House and wondered what on earth it was there for.

Well now (thanks to a redevelopment in 2002) you can grok a rock.

grok (v): to share the same reality or line of thinking with another physical or conceptual entity.

To grok the rock you should:

  1. Stand in front of the rock.
  2. Feel the rock. Understand how it feels to be a piece of unappreciated public art with a small plastic container wedged in you.
  3. Place your socks at 8 o'clock.
  4. Make sure no-one else is watching you. There are muggles above you, behind you and watching you through the glass.
  5. Extract the cache. A rolled up piece of paper is a handy way to grok the rock.
  6. Sign & replace the cache.

Simple!
