Esscafe invites you to a relaxed ‘sunday coffee morning’, a couple of hours to celebrate the unique date of 10-10-10, at 10.10am, (and 10 seconds!)
There is a world-wide multi event on this day and Hampshire is to be a part of it!
Bring your flask and a chair for a natter with your old friends, or come and make new ones, at the beautiful Staunton Country Park near Havant in Hampshire. There are 1,000 acres of landscaped parkland with an ornamental lake, woodland and follies, plenty of room to run around with the children and a few established caches in and near the park as well.
Look out for the Geo-logo at the given co-ordinates. Though we will be outside, there is ample cover at that location under atmospheric arches in the event of inclement weather.
There is plenty of free parking in the car park across the road at N50.52.415 W0.58.521 then a short walk to the meet. It is free to enter the country park, but there is also a Victorian Walled Garden and glasshouse, a Puzzle Garden and Maze which may be visited for a fee.
I have been very lucky to obtain 10 special edition event coins thanks to Lizzardman (which can be seen on this cache page GC2DM17), at a cost of 6 pounds each. All coins have now been reserved.
