Geocache Description:

Multi-cache. The lyrics carry a clue in them related to Stage 1 - gather the coordinates from stage 1 and wander over to the cache, less than 100m away.

     Shifting the dream

From the nearby number 2 Interpretive Panel, find the following:

  1. Originally the Stafford to Shrewsbury Line ... totalling just under 3A miles in length.
  2. Once Parliamentary permission was given, it took just B years to complete.
  3. In the early years 19C0's children used to wave to the engine drivers.
  4. In front of you is Crossing Cottage ... Though the deeds go back to 182D.
  5. Opened in 18E9, both passenger and goods trains.
  6. However in the 196F the Beeching Report recommended the closure of 6,000 miles of mostly rural branch and cross-country lines.

  • N42 48.ABC
  • W002 10.DEF
