A friend of mine wants to tell the story of this cache:
You are looking for a yellow lunchbox cut in half, sitting deep in the cavity of the abandon property line and the sidewalk. And there ye treasure shall be.
While in the area looking for a place to hide my next LARGE cache, (not this one) I was looking for an abandon used car lot, (if you know of one that could use a cache in it please feel free to let me know) and found this corner piece of property just sitting here so I decided to explore.
Turns out in the trees just to the southwest of this cache on the property, it seems a large geocache filled with broken toys and other invaluable things biodegraded leaving an interesting pile of human history in its wake. I dedicate this cache to the fallen toys, cherished nick knacks, and broken memories until now forever lost in these trees.
I really enjoy exploring abandon buildings. Although not much of a legal hobby, it sure can be fascinating. Especially really old ones where mother nature has started eating them alive.
I also really enjoy exploring hedges in urban settings. I like to see what fragments of human history get entangled in those leafy green bushes. I tend to make up stories about how the weirdest things got there.
Hope you found this heap as interesting as I have. It shows what people can do to destroy the earth, and how the earth generally has the advantage given enough time to heal itself.
[Cache has a new log ready for you to sign! You must sign this new log in order to claim a find on it! Thanks!]
(I have been alerted to the fact that the GC Code on this cache is rather fishy... BUT! I know for a fact it's real! :-) )
