Geocache Description:

Cache is not at posted coords, please don't even attempt to go there!
A puzzle cache based on X-Men trivia from the comics, movies, etc...
Note: Some attributes were chosen solely based on the fact that there are X's in them. You will not need to make campfires, bring cross-country ski's, and the only danger is that typical of a parking lot in LA county. Look both ways!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The posted location was only picked due to the mark that is visible in the sat photo - zoom! This looks like a great place for the X-Men to park the Blackbird...
The title of this cache is the beckoning call of Professor Xavier from the first X-Men comic, September 1963. Coincidentally, a reboot prequel X-Men movie comes out next month...and in it, Professor Xavier has hair! That's just wrong. Professor X has always been bald in the comics, even in flashbacks as a younger man. Hmm! The trivia questions below were written before that movie comes out, keep that in mind. ;)
To find this cache, answer the trivia questions below to get the values for A-F in order to assemble the final coords.
F) How many claws does Wolverine have?
E) The original team of X-Men consisted of Cyclops, Jean Grey (Marvel Girl), Beast, Angel, and Iceman. Which two of these characters did NOT appear in the X-Men movie that came out in 2000?
2= Beast & Angel
4= Angel & Iceman
6= Beast & Iceman
8= Angel & Cyclops
D) What color(s) does Magneto always seem to dress in? (This is especially true of the comics, and even carried over somewhat in the movies, although it's bound to change in the new one.)
0= black
3= red/blue/yellow
6= puice/vermillion
9= red/purple
C) My caching name is actually from something that Gambit said to his betrothed, Belladonna, in an episode of the animated series. Yes, I am that geeky. Gambit and Belladonna belonged to rival guilds. Which one did Belladonna belong to?
2= Thieves Guild
4= Herbalists Guild
6= Gerbalists Guild
8= Assassins Guild
B) How many hairs does Professor Xavier have on his head?
A) On which planet, numbered from the sun outward starting w/ Mercury, do the X-Men adventures take place?
Cache is at N 33 48.ABC, W 118 20.DEF
(Sadly, the local business for which I chose this location, a comic book store, has since gone by, as all comic stores eventually do. This one lasted quite a while though. I took my daughters in to get one more set of Wonder Woman comics just before it closed.)
In homage to divergent timelines of the rockin' 'Days Of Future Past' storyline, I have left for the FTF'r a heavily patina'd gold $1 presidential coin, of...Franklin Pierce? When was he president? Was he before or after Lincoln, then Davis, and then Martin? This can't be right...
Congrats to OJWan for the FTF! :D
