Geocache Description:

The cache is located a on a public footpath across a field which is often occupied by friendly horses. Don't worry about the horses, they will stay away from you. On this one you have a choice of starting points for this footpath...but best to use the one recommended as its the easiest and safest. Parking is best if approached from the easterly direction.

Potentially this cache could be considered a standard drive-by...but I don't like drive-by's, so theres a little bit of a walk involved. The cache is approx twice the size of a 35mm film container. At the start it contained :- a small liver bird type figure, a horseshoe nail (very useful (believe me!)), a pre-decimal penny dated 1929, my calling card, a small pencil & of course a log. The cache is contained within its 'rain coat', after all winter is approaching - this also acts as a disguise. Please replace its raincoat before hiding it again after signing the log.
