Geocache Description:

Not quite P.L.U.T.O.

Located along The Afon Llwyd or Grey River, probably and aptly named because of the discolouration of the water, due to its usage during the coal iron and steel industries which started in the latter part of the 18th century.

Thankfully today the Afon Llwyd is once again ..

... A clean and sparkling attribute to our ` Green and Pleasant Land

You may start the walk for this one from one of a few trailheads, we have rated the cache using the geocache rating system.

Some parts are overgrown, so we suggest you do not wear shorts; boots are recommended. Some parts of the trail may get muddy at times of the year; we do not recommend this one for very young children (sorry).
