Geocache Description:

This a two-part cache with a twist. There are two caches, the Anchor Cache and the Roaming Cache. The Anchor Cache is stationary and contains the coordinates of the Roaming Cache; which changes its location as previous cachers move it around the park. Upon finding the roaming cache, you hide it somewhere else in Pyramid Mtn Reservation (please keep it west of Boonton Ave). You can log this cache repeatedly, however please wait until 3 other people have found it before trying again.

Directions for this cache. Please follow carefully: Park on Miller Rd at N40.58.177, W74.23.156. There is space for 1 or 2 cars on the right (west) shoulder. I've parked here on a number of occasions and never had a problem.

Take the blue trail to the 1st (anchor) cache (coordinates on this page). Its in a small tupperware container. In it you will find a black "Cache Location Book", pink "searching cards", a copy of these instructions and a trail/topo map of the area. The cache location book should have the coordinates of the roaming cache's current location.

Sign the pink "searching card" with your name and the date and time you set out to look for the roaming cache (this is in case someone tries to find the cache while you are out hunting for it) and re-hide the anchor cache where you found it. Take the black "cache location book" and the map with you while hunting for the roaming cache.

After you find the roaming cache, cross out the directions you followed and indicate on that page the date and time you found it. Log your visit, take something, leave something, then re-hide it somewhere else in Pyramid Mtn Reservation. Please stay west of Boonton Ave and walk to the next location (no car, or bike please). Use the map to find a new location if you are unfamiliar with the area. The cache is in a large (about a gallon) container, so it may take some time to find a suitable hiding spot. The park is heavily used, so make certain the new location is well hidden. Use the plastic shopping bag supplied inside the container to make it easier to carry.

Next, on a new page in the Location Book, note 1) the coordinates of the place you hid the second cache, 2) hints or a description of the hiding place, and 3) your name, date and time you planted the cache. Also keep a copy of the new coordinates just in case someone loses the Location Book.

Most important, return the Roaming Cache Location Book and map to the anchor cache container and hide it where you originally found it. Check the "returned" box on the "searching card"

Finally, when you get home, start watching this cache on the Geocaching website. You are responsible for the second cache until someone else finds it, so save the coordinates until someone else does.
