This cache has been placed specifically for long distance travelers. There is a gas station to the east, a deli to the north and a bank (with ATM) to the west so this is a great place to pull over. There are also two parking lots at the cache location.
The cache is placed with permission at The U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in Ishpeming, MI. The container is an ammo can and is wheelchair accessible when the ground isn't covered in snow. There are frequent events at the museum but parking in the area is abundant. Update 11-2021- Cache replaced with new Ammo Can, lock and cable securing it.
