L'antico spedale del Bigallo, è un interessante
edificio storico costruito in pietra bianca; fu fondato agli inizi
del secolo XIII e fungeva da ricovero per poveri e pellegrini.
Successivamente è stato convertito in un convento e, ai giorni
nostri, è diventata una struttura turistica con possibilità di
alloggio (Ostello del Bigallo) in stile monastico. Dispone inoltre
di una sala in cui ogni anno si svolgono numerosi convegni,
ricevimenti, matrimoni, concerti di musica da camera, etc. . La
ricerca della cache può cominciare parcheggiando nei pressi dello
ostello , ove è presente un parcheggio (N 43° 44.281 E 011°
21.005).
Lungo il percorso che porta alla cache è possibile godere di un
bellissimo panorama di Firenze.

- logbook
- lapis
- gadget/ciondolino con "omino MSN" giallo. Non è difficile
trovarla. Riposizionarla per bene dopo averla trovata. Consiglio di
fare una foto a Firenze da qua e di allegarla al log ;)

The old hospital Bigallo is an interesting historic building built
in white stone. It was founded in the early thirteenth century and
served as shelter for the poor and pilgrims. It was subsequently
