This is a new cache because the old one disappeared. It is LOG only. Bring your own pen. Might not be available in winter due to snow.
This was an old homestead from about the 1890's. It was later owned by the Compston Family of which there are still members living nearby. The road is the old road between Smith Valley and Bridgeport. The new road wasn't built until the 1950's. Note the old poplar trees, doing well at the end of their lifespan.
