Geocache Description:

The caches in this series are named from a documentary/reality television series. It portrays the real life events aboard fishing vessels in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and C. opilio crab fishing seasons.

The show's name derives from the inherent high risk of injury or death the crews face due to the hazardous work environment and nature of the work itself. Something that shouldn’t happen when looking for these caches!

False Pass sits on a straight connecting the Gulf of Alaska to the Bering Sea. A significant volume of commercial fishing-related vessel traffic transits the straight year-round.

In this context, the False pass caches form a link in between DC1 and DC2 series'.

The important stuff:
The cache contains a log book only, so please bring a pen or a pencil.
