THIS IS A THEMED CACHE! Please, if you are going to trade, leave something that will make you think of John Wayne. Please also leave on this site why the item you leave makes you think of The Duke. Eldest Son LOVES stories, and he's practicing his reading, so we love the idea of giving him something he'd be interested in to read.
While on a walk with eggadventures, Eldest Son pointed out this place and exclaimed that it reminded him of John Wayne war movies. With a little imagination, it's not hard to understand why.
Now, if you ask Eldest Son, he will tell you; his favorite rock band is The Beatles, his favorite singer (with a passion) is Jimmy Buffett, and his favorite actor (also with a passion) is John Wayne. And yes, he did come to these conclusions all by himself, and has held on to them his whole life.
There will eventually be three themed caches to represent these favorites of his. This is Eldest Son's very first cache. He piled together various items that made him think of John Wayne. First off, it's in an Ammo Box. :-)
Inside is, for the First to Find, a copy of "The Quiet Man". It's not meant for trade, it's a gift.

a harmonica (Rio Bravo, not him, but still associated with his movie)

Also, to kick it off is a travel bug, "For Love of the Duke", attached to a lovely horse, with the mission to hit various John Wayne sites.
When you find this cache, take the time to look around. It's definately a location to let the imagination roam...
