This is a small series of 5 caches placed in celebration of Mr kcvR’s retirement (well first retirement!) and placed along various routes enjoyed by the kcvR’s whilst walking on their island. They can be done as a series or individually. The walk, if you do them all from the parking coordinates, is a circular route of approximately 4 miles long and will probably take about 2 hours to do. To assist you get around the rather large holes on the circuit we have included various waypoints as help.
Car Parking (for the series) is at N50 33 146 W002 25 608 and is the same parking for our Why Oh Why cache (GC1MTFH). kcvRetirement 2 is at N50 33.281 W002 25.933 From the information provided at this point the cache can be found at: N50 33.(Fossil Forest) (Tramway Gulley) (Fossil Forest) W002 2(--- Spot Burnet Moth).(Fossil Forest) 0 (Rock face with Purbeck beds) A nice way through King Barrow quarry is to go via the tunnel at (N50 33.358 W002 26.125) and the Fossil Forest at (N50 33.225 W002 26.269).
