Sand Cut: three caches along part of the old Arnside-Hincaster railway line, now a favourite spot for dog-walkers. A dramatic cutting through limestone with two high bridges. The Ship Inn at the NE end offers handy refreshment!
The middle of three caches in the old Sandside cutting. Please note that this is not a drive-by! Access is definitely not possible from Storth Road on top of the bridge. A short walk from either end of the cutting will easily bring you to the cache. From underneath the bridge you can admire the fine stone work and the brick arch.
Please re-hide well, and discretely as this can be quite a busy dog walking route. For more info see:
