Went geocaching with Team Lord High Admiral and their grandchildren Katlynn and Alyssa for whom the geocache got its name, AlyKat. Nice little geocache for kids all ages! Hope you have as much fun finding it as we had placing it. It is a small round holiday cookie tin. We saw 7 deer on this trip right around Malicious Gap. Had 3 deer watching us while we placed the cache! Along the way can see great views of Roosevelt Lake and valley below.
Off of FR 609 between Punkin Center and Malicious Gap on way up to Young Highway. Closer to Malicious Gap. Hidden on pull off of forest road where you can park jeeps or ATVs easily. Very short walk around that area to find cache. Should be easy to find for the little ones. Good road all the way up from Punkin Center on FR 71 and then FR 609. Trucks, jeeps, & ATVs should not have a problem making this trip.
