Geocache Description:

Due to the previous cache container going missing this has now been changed to a nano and the difficulty changed to reflect this. You will need to bring a pen in order to sign the log.

Please replace with care!

Parking is available nearby and it is easily accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs although help would be needed to retrieve the cache.

This is a very popular area so stealth is definitely required, also please replace as found.

This cache was placed with the very kind permission of Natural England and Eastleigh Borough Council.

This cache is placed down at Hamble Point, with views across Southampton Water to Fawley and the refinery. There are also good views across to Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

This can be done as a Cache and Dash or if you have a few minutes more take a stroll along the shore to another of our caches 'Grandads Cache'.

Please take a few moments to read the information boards to appreciate the history and flora and fauna of this area.

Rumour has it that a local cacher was brought to this area a few years ago in order to see 'The Worlds Biggest Supertanker', but they were actually proposed to instead. They said Yes! But thats another story.......
