We stop here each time we pass by, for a clean washroon, a picnic spot and a look at the river and it is only a minute off the highway. Now there is another reason to stop. I wanted to plant a new cache in honor of my 1000th find, in thanks to all of you who have put caches out there for us to find.

For years I have wondered why there is no cache here but was never prepared so last time I scouted out a spot and this time brought a cache ready to hide. Only to find someone beat me to it, but not in the area I had scouted. so if you are in a hurry find the nano called Grand Taylor River Rest Stop. And if you have a few more minutes look for the little path on backside of roadway , follow it up the little hill and back down , GPSr reception a bit jumpy in the trees but you should be free to look without muggle interuption, but be gentle with the surroundings. Do keep your eyes aware of other eyes on you as you are in bear country. May be difficult to get to if there is much snow.
