The
Green Man
Created from ideas
surrounding roman architecture. I believe there is a green man in
every tree and try to bring the flavour of a different protector in
every sculpture. This piece carved in 2007 in a dying horse
chestnut tree in England created a new landmark for the area just
around the Welsh border.

Andy Hancock is a sculptor
that specialises in generating unique ideas in art and
sculpture.
Born in Melbourne, Australia
he now lives in South Padre Island, Texas. His commissions take him
around the world to countries such as Australia, New Zealand and
the UK.
Using organic forms, standing
trees, recycling industrial surplus and using mainstream materials
enable Andy to create his award-winning work. His latest work
invloves teaching thousands each year how to master sand
sculpture.
His clients range from
individuals to large corporate and educational institutions.
Projects can span a single day or extend over a whole year and
beyond. Andy has worked with thousands of people on hundreds of
projects over the previous 10 years to establish himself as one of
the leading sculptors in his field.
Andy's work is primarily
commission only as most clients are inspired to enhance their
environment after seeing a previous work.
Andy uses collaboration as a
strength not a weakness. He is a leading consultant on organising
International symposia around the world.
