WVSquaw: Well, local government, in all of its ignorant glory, decided to tear out ALL of the trees here... right during hatching season for our birds! So, now the birds have no home, any hatchlings still in nests are destroyed, and the cache is now truly RIP!

Geocache Description:


To celebrate Halloween 2010, we are placing a series of 16 holiday-themed caches. Rarely will hints be given, and shouldn't be needed, as the clue to what you are seeking lies in the name of the cache.

While seeking this cache, you may feel that you are being led across someone's side yard... You are, GeoChimp and I own and live in the house to your right, and we obviously are giving permission... Feel free to follow the trail.... We only ask that you refrain from any impulse to approach the fenced in, (and electrified) back yard, to pet our dogs. Siberian Huskies are very territorial when it comes to their home. Since the cache is not close to the back part of the yard, this should pose no problem for anyone. As far as parking is concerned, there is a small area near the street sign that anyone can park in, or if that area is taken cachers may park in our home's parking area while retreiving the cache.

Most of the caches have a small bison tube attached, and will contain log only. Please take care when opening containers, as most do not remove from their "home", but only require the bison tube (or other log protection) to be opened for the log to be removed and signed.

Hopefully, we will be doing the same to celebrate this coming Christmas, so keep an eye out for further holiday caches... Or better yet, we are inviting everyone to place some of your own to help us celebrate!!
