Geocache Description:

Was out grabbing caches in the area and passed by this mine, and was surprised to see there wasn't a cache placed here yet, so I had to remedy that and place one for you to seek.

I really, really like the mines that are peppered all over the Southern Nevada area.

This mine is known as "Root Mine" was a lead mine that lies at the southern end of the Spring Mountains of Southern Nevada, also known as Bonanza Hill. It is part of the North Mesquite Wilderness Area.

Do not go into the mine as they are not as stable as they once was, if they was at all.
