The Guineans are a race of amphibians who inhabitant underwater city called Otoh Gunga. Jar Jar is a kind, helpful but rather clumsy individual.
Due to an unfortunate accident Jar Jar has been banished from the city.
He often stumbles into danger sometimes working his clumsiness to his advantage. Jar Jar's honesty and knowledge of his homeward reveal deeper quantities that perhaps Jar Jar does not realise himself.
