Knoxville Cemetery
Knoxville Cemetery is located in Pendleton County. This is a well maintain cemetery. Behind the sign is I found a mailbox that holds information print outs on the cemetery which also includes a list of everyone that is buried here.
Here is a little history from the sheet:
The founders of Knoxville created this cemetery and the families were never charged to bury a relative. They just trusted that future generations would maintain it as they did. Times changed and people were forced to move away for work. Many descendents do not live near here.
The Knoxville Cemetery Association was formed over 30 years ago by Edythe Nichols to help maintain the cemetery and ensure that it is maintained for future generations.
The geocache is not hidden on or near any headstones.
You will be looking for a small to almost regular size lock n lock container.
Please be respectful in all cemeteries. Also I never hide any geocaches close to headstones.
