Geocache Description:

This is the next cache hide in my series of favorite golf courses I have played and this one is for Torrey Pines.

Torrey Pines is located in San Diego, California and is mostly known for being a regular stop on the PGA tour and its Buick Invitational Tournament. Most recently, it was the host course for the U.S. Open a few years back, when Tiger Woods won an epic 14th major, on a broken leg in a thrilling playoff against Rocco Mediate.

What really makes Torrey Pines special is that is open to the public. It has two eighteen holes courses and has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean on virtually every hole. I was fortunate enough to play this track about 10 years ago, one week before the Buick. My father and I experienced the course the way it was set up for the pros, and actually we didn't do too bad. The severe drops to some of the greens are awesome, and the wildlife in the area roams free, as we saw two wolves walk right on a par 3 green as we teed off. Another great course and memory of one of many neat places my dad and I have played.

The cache that you are looking for is a nano that is well hidden. You will need a pen or pencil to sign the log. When replacing the log after you sign it, roll it up and put it in the cap first, then screw it on. Please place this cache back as you found it, and make sure the nano is concealed when you rehide it. Good luck and good hunting.

CONGRATS TO NANNYDANNY ON BEING FTF!!!

VERY IMPORTANT-----DO NOT MESS WITH THE GATE AND/OR FENCE. THE STORAGE FACILITY WANTED TO CLEAR ABOUT THAT.
