This is the next cache hide in my series of my favorite golf courses I have played and it is in honor of Threetops at Treetops.
Threetops at Treetops is located in Gaylord, Michigan. It is a nine hole, par 3 golf course and I thought this would be fitting as this is the ninth hole of my series. Threetops is one of 4 courses located at Treetops Resort and really is one of the most breathtaking and fun courses. Rick Smith, along with being one of the premier golf instructors in the world, is also one of the designers of this course. The views from the teeboxes at this small par three are awesome. It is one of those places where you look out over the vast land that is Michigan and simply can't believe we have such spectacular sights. As for the course, the elevation drop from some of the tees to the greens are upwards of 150-200 feet and really daunting at times. This course also is host to the annual Par 3 skins challenge. Phil Mickelson and Lee Trevino have been regulars at that friendly annual contest and it offers a million dollar prize for any hole in one during the competition. This is a definite must play if you are in the area, and I guarantee a great time.
I figured since we are about to "make the turn" on my golf course tour, I would throw you guys an easy birdie hole. You are looking for a small container with a little room for some small trade items, small TB's and even coins. Bring a pencil just in case. This is pretty straight forward, should be an easy find for "most".....
Please return the cache to its resting spot and conceal it with the surrounding "camo". Seems there are muggles that walk by often, so be stealthy and have fun. Good luck, and also I almost forgot...$1.00 for the first to find.
