Geocache Description:

Part of a short series close to the A46/Fosse Way. This cache is close to the start of a footpath leading away from the sliproad to/from the soundbound carriageway. It's easier to park close to the cache if you're heading towards the A46 southbound. You can still park close to the cache if you're not heading south, but it's not the easiest spot for a 3-point turn so you might want to park a little further away. This cache isn't buggy or wheelchair friendly.

You're looking for a sandwich box covered in camo tape, which contains some of the information you need to find Romans Go Home. The rest of the information can be found in Romanes Eunt Domus and online.

The Fosse Way was a Roman road from Exeter to Lincoln, much of which is still part of the modern road network. The A46 follows the course of the Fosse Way from the southern outskirts of Lincoln to the north side of Leicester. It isn't always as straight as you might expect, but these caches are hidden close to a 5 mile section of extremely straight dual carriageway.
