Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto del cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

La ricerca di questa cache vi porterà a scoprire prima un angolo nascosto di questo paesino affacciato sul Lago Maggiore e poi una veduta su questo meraviglioso specchio d'acqua.

The search for this cache will take you first to discover a hidden corner of this village overlooking Lake Maggiore, then a view on this wonderful stretch of water.

Lesa “si adagia su uno dei più suggestivi golfi del Verbano, attorniato dallo stupendo anfiteatro collinare che si innalza a spalti verso l’alto Vergante in un policromo susseguirsi di vigneti, frutteti, spiazzi prativi, armoniosi boschi”.
Con queste parole Luciano Rainoldi introduce il Borgo di Lesa; parole belle, giuste, adatte forse di più ad un tempo passato che non a quello attuale.
Il pittoresco golfo di Lesa è una straordinaria insenatura, posta alle pendici della Motta Rossa e lambita dal delta del torrente Erno che offre una veduta panoramica di Belgirate (a Nord), di Arona (a Sud), della costa lombarda con le scogliere di Arolo fino alla Rocca di Angera (di fronte).

La mitezza del clima e le vaste aree verdi pianeggianti hanno donato a questa terra una grande ricchezza agricola, soprattutto nel campo della viticoltura e della frutticoltura (un tempo era famosa per le “persigatt”, piccole e gustose pesche locali), ma con la nascita del turismo d’élite, le coltivazioni hanno lasciato il posto a prestigiose ville, trasformandola in un’elegante e signorile località di villeggiatura affacciata sul lago e circondata dal verde dei boschi e dai fiori dei suoi giardini.

LA CHIESA DI SAN MARTINO

Un piazzale alberato delimitato da una Via Crucis (dipinta nel 1936 da Vanni Rossi) fa’ da cornice alla Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Martino con il suo slanciato campanile bianco.
Non si hanno notizie precise sull’anno della sua costruzione, anche se la struttura romanica a tre navate fa’ presumere, esaminando i muri esterni ed il campanile, che sia avvenuta attorno al 1000/1100. Col passare degli anni è stata sottoposta a numerose ristrutturazioni che hanno modificato, in modo non sempre del tutto ortodosso, l’antica costruzione. Il campanile stesso ha subito ritocchi e rifacimenti che ne hanno alterata la primitiva origine romanica.

Lesa "sits on one of the most beautiful bays of Lake Maggiore, surrounded by the beautiful hillside amphitheater that rises in terraces up Vergante in a series of multicolored vineyards, orchards, grassy clearings, harmonious forest."
With these words Luciano Rainoldi introduces Lesa, beautiful words, fair, perhaps more suited to a time in the past that the current one.
The picturesque bay of Lesa is a unique bay, located on the slopes of Motta Rossa and lapped by the Erno creek which offers a panoramic view from Belgirate (North) to Arona (south) and of coastline with cliffs down to the Fortress of Angera (on the opposite side).

THE ST. MARTIN CHURCH

A tree-lined square surrounded by a Via Crucis (painted in 1936 by Vanni Rossi) creates the frame for the parish church of San Martino (St. Martin) with its soaring white bell tower.
There is no precise information on the year of its construction, although the Romanesque structure with three naves make presume, considering the external walls and tower, that it took place around 1000/1100 BC. Over the years it has undergone many renovations that have changed, not always entirely orthodox, the old building. The tower itself has undergone revisions and remakes that have altered the primitive Romanesque style.
