Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Subtitled “An Introduction to Phillip Island’s Wildlife”, this is one of a series of drive-by traditional caches designed especially for those who don’t enjoy multi or mystery caches.

The log is in a micro, inside a larger container. You'll need to BYO pen.

The scenery is nothing special, but the caches are relatively easy to find and, I hope, entertaining (maybe even a little bit scary!).

Middle-sized children should enjoy them (the drive-by bit plus elevation of some caches is not suited to small children, and in my experience nothing can cheer a determinedly sullen teenager).

Phillip Island is home to a range of wildlife, including Swamp Wallabies, which live in thick forest undergrowth and feed on a variety of introduced and native shrubs, grasses and ferns. Females can suckle two joeys of different ages. Kangaroos (along with deer and rabbits) were introduced to Phillip Island in 1842, for game hunting.

What not-roadkill can you find at this cache location?
And can you find the location’s wildlife link?

You’ll need these answers to find the last cache in this series (not Roadkill Final Reward).

Just one final note - please take care when removing log. For some reason the log containers keep getting broken, which is a bit perplexing as both the container and the log itself can be extracted without force, they both shake free quite readily.
